Mon - Lecture 1:
Gary Glassman, DDS, internationally recognized endodontist and educator, introduces the fundamentals of root canal treatment with a practical, evidence-based approach. This lecture reviews diagnostic protocols, radiographic evaluation, and treatment planning, before outlining the step-by-step process of isolation, access preparation, canal shaping, irrigation, and obturation. Emphasis is placed on recognizing common pitfalls in early endodontic practice and strategies for achieving predictable results. Mon - Lecture 2:
Practicing oral pathologist and instructor, Robert D. Kelsch, DMD, employs clinical case studies to review the presentation, diagnosis and treatment of commonly encountered along with uncommon entities affecting the oral mucosal soft tissues. Conditions discussed include aphthous ulcerations, traumatic and factital ulcers, herpes simplex virus infections, lichen planus, vesiculobullous disease, oral cancer, erythroplakia, as well as squamous cell and verrucous carcinoma.

is a specialist practicing clinical and microscopic oral & maxillofacial pathology, and Director of Clinical Oral Pathology in the Division of Oral Pathology of the Department of Dental Medicine at Northwell Health. He is associate professor in the Departments of Dental Medicine and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. Kelsch is also an attending physician at several area hospitals and holds numerous advisory council, consultant and course director positions at medical foundations, medical centers and professional organizations. Veteran practitioner and dental practice consultant, Steven M. Katz, DMD, MAGD, reviews the post COVID environment of corporate and commoditized dentistry, do-it-yourself dentistry, and difficult reimbursement dynamics, and offers proven strategies for meeting them. Two significant culprits in the destruction of tooth and bone are acid airway reflux and Type 2 Diabetes. Veteran practitioner and educator, Susan Maples, DDS, MSBA, explores the oral ramifications of these conditions, proper treatment approaches, root cause analysis, ways to facilitate health change behavior in patients, and developing co-referral relationships with medical professionals to develop treatment strategies. Issues discussed include the silent symptoms of reflux and patterns of tooth loss it engenders, pH balance, the impact of sleep apnea as well as diet, the bi-directional relationship between Diabetes and active Periodontal Disease, Insulin Resistance pathology and its progression to Prediabetes and DM2, and the practitioner’s role in preventing or improving lifestyle-related systemic disease.

As an international lecturer, he has delivered close to 400 Laser Certification and Laser Tongue Tie Certification courses worldwide. He practices laser-assisted dentistry in New York City. He is the only dentist in the world to have the triad of awards: Diplomate of the American Board of Laser Surgery, Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, Master of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, as well as being a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry His seminal textbook Principles and Practice of Laser Dentistry, now in its 3rd edition, has been the standard textbook on laser dentistry for over a decade.
